Mr. Eric Osen
of Vallejo, has been appointed to the Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo and Suisun. He has worked for the Chevron Shipping Company since 2000, where he currently serves as a team leader of standards, compliance assurance and advocacy. In this position, Osen manages the company's safety and environmental management system. Previously, he held the positions of operations coordinator and clearance specialist. Prior to that, Osen served as chief mate for Coastal Tankerships USA and held the same position with Maritrans.

He is a member of the Board of Pilot Commissioners' Ad Hoc Pilot Power Committee.

of San Rafael, has served at the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD) since 1990, most recently as emergency preparedness coordinator until his retirement in 2008. Johnston previously held the positions of western region director from 1992 to 2007 and liaison officer to the U.S. Coast Guard from 1990 to 1992 at MARAD. Prior to that, he served as head of maritime affairs for the Office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations from 1984 to 1990.

He is the current designee on the board representing the Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing. Mr. Morocz is a career executive state attorney who has previously served as staff attorney, senior attorney, assistant chief counsel, and assistant general of serveral state agencies over the past 20 years, including the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Department of Child Support Services, the Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency, and the California State Teacher's Retirement System.
